Several years ago, I discovered the wonders of good chiropractic care and massage, after receiving treatment for chronic back and shoulder pain due to work-related injury.  I found that regular treatment had profound affects on my overall health and well being, so I began researching massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, and other forms of complementary and alternative health care.

After relocating to southwestern Michigan with my husband, I decided to pursue training to become a certified massage therapist.  I completed the 600 hour training program at the Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts in February of 2009.  My training there gave me many helpful tools for my tool-box, and deepened my passion for massage as health care.  There is always more to learn, and I enjoy expanding my skills through continued education.  I am certified with ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.)

I joined the team at Kalamazoo Chiropractic Center in August of 2009, and have enjoyed working with a wide variety of clients.  I custom-tailor each massage session to focus on what each person needs.  Pressure is always to the client’s tolerance and preference, and I encourage feedback to ensure the most relaxing and beneficial massage possible.  My view is ‘it doesn’t have to hurt to help.’
